NextEra Energy Resources LLC (clean energy development)
Kerry Hattevik is vice president of development for NextEra Energy Resources LLC, a leading wholesale power generator. She is one the highest-ranking NextEra Energy executives in California.
Hattevik previously served as president of NextEra subsidiary TransBay Cable LLC (2019–2021), preceded by a decade as regional director of west government affairs at NextEra Energy Resources. She previously worked for the California Public Utilities Commission and was the regulatory/government affairs manager for the West and California for nationwide energy utility NRG Energy, Inc.
Hattevik has served on the California Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors since January 2020. She holds a B.A. in international studies from the University of Oregon, Eugene, and an M.S. in energy and environmental management from the Norwegian School of Management BI, Sandvika, Oslo.
