John A. Stowell

CPA and Chartered Accountant. As a senior vice president for finance, Stowell is responsible for all domestic and international tax, global incentives and international financial reporting and controllership. Began career with Deloitte (in Auckland, Los Angeles and Washington DC). Before joining Disney, held executive positions with Delphi Automotive LLP (subsequently Delphi Automotive PLC now Aptiv PLC), and Avery Dennison Corporation, where he was regional counsel for Asia Pacific and Latin America, European tax counsel (based in Switzerland), and director of tax planning and then vice president of taxes (based in Pasadena). CalChamber first vice chair and member of Executive Committee. CalChamber director since January 2017.
