California regulates wages and hours of nonexempt employees with documents called Wage Orders. California employers must comply with 17 Wage Orders, plus a Minimum Wage Order, as well as any applicable statutes. You must determine which Wage Order(s) govern your business and post a copy of the applicable order(s) in your workplace.
