Recruits businesses to become members in California Chamber of Commerce and conducts product sales of Human Resource tools and online training courses to non-members. District Manager will be expected to recruit a certain number of new members on a monthly basis as well as meeting a certain product sales quota. Primary sales activity is via phone using enterprise system (Microsoft Dynamics) database of prospects. District Managers are also expected to work with their assigned Member Relations Managers counterpart to ensure full territory coverage in case of vacations or illness.
Call prospective customers to sell membership and HR compliance tools. Conduct online tours of membership benefit content website, HRCalifornia.com, using GoToMeeting and explain additional member benefits such as Labor Law Helpline and discounts on compliance products and services.
Composes letters, manage activities and e-mail messages (with attached files to respond to prospects questions about membership and its benefits) and Microsoft Outlook to schedule appointments to demonstrate HRCalifornia.com to prospects.
Investigate potential members via internet searches regarding their company and filtering of Microsoft Dynamic database for additional company information or purchase history in preparation for phone calls.
Organize paperwork, add and manage activities in Microsoft Dynamics database to capture status of prospect interactions and plan next calls.
Attend sales meetings, and understand current marketing campaigns and promotions that will assist with daily sales activities and ability to close business as well as become knowledgeable about any new products or services to be offered by CalChamber.

Desired experience in or knowledge of Human Resources
Demonstrated ability to use personal computer and standard business software (Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel and Outlook primarily).
Demonstrated ability to write well/grammatically correct and speak effectively with all levels of management in a “one to one” selling style.
Ability to learn or knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics enterprise system.
Ability to learn or knowledge of GoToMeeting tool for website demonstrations.
Telephone sales experience on a commission basis preferred. Sales in services industries a plus.
Organized and self disciplined to work with minimal supervision and actively manage sales funnel.
Willingness to learn new product or service offerings (such as our online training system) and coachable on sales techniques.
Bachelor’s Degree in business related field a plus.
