This awareness course is designed to provide information, in accordance with Cal/OSHA standards, to protect employees from work-related injury. It provides guidelines on required usage for personal protective equipment, inspection procedures to check for equipment defects, and criteria for failed equipment replacement. Upon completion of this course, your employees will:
- Recognize the different personal protective equipment options and determine which are required to perform certain tasks
- Understand why wearing proper personal protective equipment for an assigned task is necessary for job site and personal safety
- Why it’s important to inspect personal protective equipment prior to use and when to replace the equipment

Technical Requirements: The course requires an Adobe Flash Plug-in v8 or later and runs on both Windows and Macintosh systems. A computer with an Internet Browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled is required. We recommend a high-speed internet connection.
Recommended Browsers: Internet Explorer 6.0 or later, Safari, and Firefox. Due to flash content we do not support 64-bit browsers at this time.
Screen Resolution: Minimum suggested: 800x600, Recommended: 1024x768 or greater. The course requires no system software, storage, or IT resources
Audio Requirements: Computers with current audio/sound capability, speakers or headphones
