An employee handbook is one of the best ways to help protect your business from employee lawsuits and clearly communicate your company policies. This user-friendly software does all the work for you. A wizard-based interface guides you through a series of questions, and you select polices that apply to your company. It’s as easy as that.

The software completely automates the process of compiling and formatting the handbook, even customizing it to reflect your company’s identity. The program will produce an employee handbook that is:

    1. Am I required to have an employee handbook?

      California does not require employers to have a handbook. However, if you create a handbook, there are policies that must be included.
    2. Why doesn’t it have both languages within the same program?

      To keep costs lower, we offer English and Spanish handbooks separately. We let you choose which program you need. (Instructions and navigation are in English for both programs.) As an added bonus, you get both programs at a discounted price if you buy them as a bundle.
    3. Why would I need a Spanish version of the handbook?

      California has a large Spanish-speaking workforce, so communicating your policies to employees is important and provides peace of mind. An employee handbook gives you the best opportunity to clearly communicate your company policies and help protect yourself from unlawful termination suits.
    4. If I have an existing policy or want to add information to a policy in the software, will it translate it into Spanish?

      No. However, if you are a CalChamber member, you are eligible for a free initial consultation and a 15% discount from SpanishOne Translations, made available through our business partner service.
    5. What if I need more than one handbook?

      Within your company you can make as many handbooks as you need. However, if you are creating handbooks for multiple companies, you need to purchase our Enterprise version. (Please refer to the “Quantity Discounts” tab for more information.)
    6. Can I post it to our intranet?

      Yes.
    7. Can I personalize it with our company logo?

      Yes.
    8. Do you have technical support if I need assistance?

      Yes.
    9. What if I need to create an employee handbook immediately?

      We can help you download the software immediately from the store site when you use an authorized credit card. We’ll ship a CD to you as a backup if you purchase the software (shipping and handling charges apply) vs. the download only.

      Note: If you purchase the download-only version, no CD is shipped and there are no shipping and handling charges.
