Recording Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses

Cal/OSHA requires employers to record and report work-related injuries and illnesses. Recording and reporting are two separate processes. You need not always perform both.

“Recording” involves creating and maintaining records of work-related injuries. Keep these documents as references. You will also need them if an inspection requires you to present your records.
