Scheduling Requirements in San Francisco

San Francisco has enacted specific ordinances which may affect how you schedule your employees. These measures include:

  • Family Friendly Workplace Ordinance which requires flexible-working arrangements for employees with care giving responsibilities
  • Retail Workers Bill of Rights which provides certain covered workers with protections relating to shift scheduling and shift predictability and also receive increased opportunities to transition from part-time to full-time work.
