Discrimination Prevention

California employers have an affirmative duty to create workplaces free from unlawful discrimination and harassment. Employers are obligated to take all reasonable steps to prevent discrimination and harassment from occurring and to promptly correct and discriminatory or harassing conduct (Govt. Code section 12940(k); 2 CCR sec. 11023).​​​
