Paid Sick Leave Update Webinar

With the enactment of the Healthy Workplaces, Healthy Families Act of 2014 (“the Act”), California became the second state in the nation to mandate sick leave.

Effective July 1, 2015, employers were required by law to provide a set amount of paid sick leave to employees working in California. On July 13, 2015, Governor Brown signed changes to the new paid sick leave law.
