Accessing the Website

How do I activate my account?

As part of Online, Preferred, Executive, and Advocacy Level memberships, you have access to HRCalifornia.com. Once you become a member, access to HRCalifornia.com is automatically activated. You will receive an email listing your username (the same as your e-mail address) and password. To access the website, click on the link provided in the email. When HRCalifornia.com opens for the first time, you will be asked to fill out some additional information to complete your account. Once you have entered the information, your account is complete and you are ready to start accessing the labor law content you want.

When you log in for the first time, you can change your present password immediately, keep it, or change at any time in the future.

Logging In

How do I log in to HRCalifornia.com?

  1. Open your Internet browser and go to HRCalifornia.com.
  2. Click Sign In, located in the upper, right corner. The Sign In screen appears.
  3. Enter your e-mail address in the Username field. This should be the same e-mail address listed in the login information you received from HR California.
  4. Enter your password in the Password field. Click Tab on your keyboard to move between fields.
  5. Click Sign In or press the Enter key on your keyboard.

Changing Account Information

How do I change my password?

You can easily change your password in the HR California Website.

  1. Open your Internet browser and go to www.hrcalifornia.com.
  2. Log in using your current username and password.
  3. Click Your Account, located in the upper, right corner or in the Your Account Info section. The Your Account screen appears.
  4. Click Manage Your Password, located in the Manage Your Contact Information section. The Password Management screen appears.
  5. Enter a new password in the New Password field.
  6. Re-enter your new password in the Confirm Password field. Click Tab on your keyboard to move between fields.
  7. Click Update.

NOTEThe system retains user cookies for one day. This means that you cannot log in using your new password until the next day. However, you can continue to use your account for the remainder of the day because you already logged in.


How do I change my name, address, and phone number?

  1. Open your Internet browser and go to www.hrcalifornia.com.
  2. Log in using your current username and password.
  3. Click Your Account, located in the upper, right corner or in the Your Account Info section. The Your Account screen appears.
  4. Click Manage Your Contact Information, located in the Manage Your Contact Information section. The Manage Your Contact Information screen appears.
  5. Update the information in the fields as needed. Fields that display with an asterisk are mandatory and must have information entered.
  6. Click Update.


How do I change my company profile?

  1. Open your Internet browser and go to www.hrcalifornia.com.
  2. Log in using your current username and password.
  3. Click Your Account, located in the upper, right corner or in the Your Account Info section. The Your Account screen appears.
  4. Click Manage Your Company Information, located in the Manage Your Contact Information section. The Manage Your Company Information screen appears.
  5. Update the information in the fields as needed. Fields that display with an asterisk are mandatory and must have information entered.
  6. Click Update.
