Californians for Clean and Reliable Energy (Cal-CARE) A statewide coalition of residential consumers, small business owners and government leaders dedicated to ensuring that California has a reliable supply of electricity. This coalition supports the Sunrise Powerlink, a new electricity transmission line proposed to strengthen the state's power grid and energy security by bringing renewable energy from the desert in southeast California to the Southern California power grid near San Diego.

Comprised of employers and employer association representatives, CEC reviews and comments directly on issues that affect the employer/employee relationship. Workers' Compensation Action Network (WCAN)
Works to ensure that workers’ compensation reforms are implemented as the reformers intended. A coalition of businesses working together to ensure that the implementation of AB 32, California's landmark law aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, is done in a way that accomplishes the environmental goals of the act while preserving the economy.

Green Chemistry Alliance
A collection of trade associations and businesses that are working to ensure effective implementation of the California Green Chemistry Program that was authorized by AB 1879 (Feuer; D-Los Angeles, 2008) and SB 509 (Simitian; D-Palo Alto, 2008). The goal of the alliance is to ensure that the Green Chemistry Program is implemented in a way that allows for maximum environmental benefit and minimizes the economic impacts.

Taxation
Business and Taxpayers for Fair Fees
Works to reverse the damage caused by the Sinclair Paint Supreme Court decision. The Sinclair Paint decision wipes out taxpayer protections and exposes taxpayers to a new array of tax-like fees by authorizing state and local governments to levy tax-like fees on business and individuals in California without a popular vote for local taxes and without a two-thirds legislative vote for state taxes.
