Robert Callahan
Policy Analyst, Transportation, Housing & Land Use, Banking & Finance, and Small Business
Robert Callahan joined the CalChamber in 2005 as a legislative assistant working in the areas of agriculture, resources, water, privacy, housing, education, environment and transportation.
He was promoted to a policy analyst position in October 2006 and now lobbies on transportation, housing and land use, banking and finance, and small business. He also provides support on climate change issues.
Before his work at the CalChamber, Callahan acquired knowledge and experience in public policy working as a legislative assistant for a Sacramento lobbying firm and through several legislative internships, including assisting California Senator Jim Battin and serving as an intern in Washington, D.C.
Callahan received two B.A.s in history and political science from the University of California, Davis.
