California and Federal Employment Notices Posters

Effective January 1, 2012, your 2011 California and federal employment notices posters are out of compliance.  CalChamber's two-poster set includes mandatory updates to require employment notices for 2012, plus the new 11”x17” NLRA notice that’s mandatory for most private-sector employers. (See the Updates tab below.)

Make compliance easy; preorder your posters now. Better yet, preorder our 2012 Required Notices Kit and get your required posters and pamphlets all at once! Save money vs. ordering them separately, too.

The NLRB has delayed the original 1/31/12 posting deadline for the NLRA notice until 4/30/12. See the Updates tab below for details. Watch the video.

Due to litigation the implementation date could change again, so check the HR Watchdog blog on HRCalifornia regularly for status updates.

Effective April 30, 2012, most private-sector employers must post a new notice issued by the NLRB entitled, “Employee Rights Under the National Labor Relations Act.” This poster requirement was scheduled to be implemented on January 31, 2012, but the NLRB has delayed implementation until April 30, 2012.  Certain industries like agriculture, airlines, and railroads, as well as some small businesses, are exempt from the NLRA notice requirement. Note: Pending lawsuits may change or eliminate the new NLRA posting requirement (originally scheduled to be implemented on January 31, 2012, but now delayed by the NLRB until April 30, 2012). However, if the 4/30/12 mandate stays in place, Poster Protect customers can opt for a no-cost, all-in-one poster that includes the NLRA posting.
