Two More ‘Job Killers’ Move Off List
Amendments Remove Most Onerous Aspects; CalChamber Still Opposes / Author Declines to Pursue Forestry ‘Job Killer’ Bill The California Chamber of Commerce removed the “job killer” designation on a bill that increased the cost of development and created project delays by requiring that general plans incorporate concepts related to healthy food access and urban agriculture, after it was amended on May 17. The CalChamber remains opposed to the bill.
