phMainContent (April 14, 2011) Inc. magazine is seeking applicants for its annual list of the fastest-growing companies in America.
The Inc. 500|5000 ranks companies by overall revenue growth over a three-year period. Companies that make the list are featured in Inc. magazine or at Inc.com.
Inc. describes making the list as a catalyst for local and national press, with companies having the opportunity to be featured on a variety of targeted lists, such as industry, geography and select interesting characteristics.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the 2011 Inc. 500|5000, your company must:
- Have generated revenue by March 31, 2007;
- Have generated at least $100,000 in revenue in 2007;
- Have generated at least $2 million in revenue in 2010;
- Be privately held, for profit; based in the U.S., and independent (not a subsidiary or division of another company).
- Apply for the Inc. 500/5000 by the April 30, 2011 deadline.
Once a company has applied, Inc. will verify revenue through a simple and confidential process. More information is available on the Inc. website.
The list will be announced in the September 2011 of Inc. magazine, available on newsstands in mid-August and online on August 24.
