Government Relations

We look out for you so you can get on with business.

From grassroots and lobbying to political action committees, we're working to make California a better place to live, work and do business. Last year alone, we defeated new tax initiatives, helped improve state infrastructure, battled rising health care costs and fought lawsuit abuse. Our goal is three-fold: to promote California businesses, protect our private sector from excessive government mandates, and prepare the state for a prosperous future.

See the latest on key issues affecting your business and what the CalChamber is doing to fight for pro-business legislation.

Lobbying

The CalChamber's legislative staff and member leaders work together through the Public Affairs Council and policy committees to monitor, draft and review public policy. See our lobbyists in action giving testimony and read about our major legislative victories.
