Each quarter the CalChamber's Economic Advisory Council reports to the CalChamber Board about factors affecting the state's economy, such as the energy prices, interest rates and the housing market.
Overall, the survey revealed that widespread pessimism remains about the state’s economy. However, business leaders are relatively optimistic about an economic recovery compared to 2008.
