Provides expertise (including cost analysis) on impact of climate change regulations on business operations; brainstorms ideas for altering machinery/operations; discusses and outlines a plan for a cap-and-trade system for greenhouse gases. (Open to policy-oriented members.)

Economic Advisory Council
Provides quarterly forecasts of the California economy and coordinates special economic studies.Council members include business economists from a variety of industries and from government.

Intellectual Property Rights Working Group
Consists of CalChamber member companies engaged in intellectual property rights policy development and advocacy.

Local Chamber Advisory Council
The 28-member advisory council is made up of small business owners, company and chamber executives.The committee meets three times a year in Sacramento. Committee members serve by reference of local chambers. The Local Chamber Advisory Council chair is Cindy Roth of the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce.

Public Affairs Council
The Advocacy Council advises the CalChamber on political and policy strategies to improve California's business climate. It is chaired by Timothy J. McCallion of Verizon. The council's vice chair is Richard Hall of Intel Corporation.
